Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the assigned shift
Perform thorough assessments and develop focused care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
Monitor patient status and escalate concerns promptly to the care team
Support discharge planning and patient education to promote recovery
Adhere to infection control standards and facility policies
Contribute to a positive unit culture and continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact RN license
Current BLS certification required
ACLS and other specialty certifications preferred when applicable
Comfortable working 12-hour daytime shifts on a per-diem basis
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and provide reliable, high-quality care

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and triage skills
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Proficient documentation and charting in electronic medical records
Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and best practices
Effective teamwork, time management, and prioritization
Patient education and family-centered communication
