Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for patient-focused care
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition accurately
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Respond to emergencies quickly and follow established protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of California (or compact licensure where applicable)
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or obtainable
• Telemetry experience preferred and comfort with cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; reliable and professional

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac telemetry monitoring and recognition of arrhythmias
• Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy, and patient assessment
• Experience with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to triage, delegate, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Strong patient-centered approach and de-escalation skills when needed
