Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to patients, supporting daily living activities
Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Assist nursing staff with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Maintain a safe, clean environment by following infection control practices
Document patient care activities clearly and timely in assigned systems
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team to enhance care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California
Valid BLS/CPR certification as required by facility policies
Experience providing direct patient care in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic nursing care: ADLs, transfers, and hygiene assistance
Skilled at taking and recording vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety protocols
Good documentation and time-management skills
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and escalate concerns appropriately
