Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes promptly to the clinical team
• Support patients with activities of daily living while preserving dignity and independence
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
• Follow infection control procedures and facility safety protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver seamless care

Qualifications

• Current and valid CNA certification for the hiring state
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight hours and flexible per diem shifts
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and ADL assistance
• Knowledge of infection control and safety best practices
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
• Familiarity with basic electronic documentation or willingness to learn
• Team-oriented mindset and dependable work ethic
