Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered direct care under RN/LVN supervision
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, mobility, and feeding
• Perform routine vital signs monitoring and communicate changes promptly
• Document care accurately and timely in the patient record
• Support a calm, safe environment and promote patient dignity at all times
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure smooth handoffs and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
• Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and adapting to per-diem assignments
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
• Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Accurate charting and attention to detail
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate concerns appropriately
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
