Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, direct patient care that keeps people comfortable and safe
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care and observations
Collaborate courteously with nurses, therapists, and other care staff to deliver excellent care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Valid state-required licenses and clear background checks
Immunizations and TB screening up to date as per facility policy
Comfort working 12-hour day shifts and able to perform physical aspects of patient care
Friendly, patient-centered attitude and good communication skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fundamentals in patient care and infection prevention
Ability to assist with ADLs and safe patient handling
Basic clinical observation skills and documentation habits
Good teamwork and clear verbal communication
Adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
