Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on basic nursing care to patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient observations
• Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers, mobility and fall-prevention practices
• Maintain cleanliness, infection control standards, and a safe patient environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (California)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Prior experience as a CNA or similar patient-care role preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and lift/assist patients as required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of patient care and monitoring
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Basic charting and documentation practices
