Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during the overnight shift
Perform thorough nursing assessments and document findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with protocols
Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy during transitions
Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred
Recent acute care or hospital experience preferred for per diem night coverage
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work independently on overnight shifts and adapt to changing needs

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred
Ongoing professional development encouraged

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Emergency response and basic life support procedures
Effective communication and teamwork across disciplines
Time management and accurate clinical documentation
