Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality respiratory care and therapies to patients with compassion
Operate and monitor ventilators and respiratory support equipment safely
Assess respiratory status, interpret results, and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on respiratory care, equipment use and disease management
Document assessments, treatments and patient responses accurately in the medical record
Participate in orientation activities and support onboarding of new team members

Qualifications

Active Washington respiratory care license or eligibility to obtain one
RRT or CRT credential preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Clinical experience as a respiratory therapist preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass required background and drug screening

Education

Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and respiratory equipment operation
Airway management and patient assessment
Arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation
Infection control practices and patient safety focus
Accurate electronic medical record documentation
Team collaboration and effective patient/family education
