Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality respiratory therapy care to patients in the facility, following established protocols
Participate fully in orientation and unit-specific training to ensure safe, consistent care
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including nurses and physicians, to coordinate patient care
Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and equipment usage in medical records
Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, ensuring infection-control and safety standards are met
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and families while delivering care

Qualifications

Current ability to obtain or maintain state respiratory care licensure (facility located in OH)
Experience in respiratory care; pediatric experience is a strong plus
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work well within a team
Available for the scheduled 5-hour shifts and required orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and implementation of respiratory treatment plans
Familiarity with respiratory equipment and ventilator support
Experience documenting clinical care and communicating with care teams
Comfort working in a pediatric care environment (facility: One Children's Plaza)
Attention to safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance
