Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret basic tele strips each shift
Provide compassionate care for patients with CHF, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Support recovery for total joint replacement patients with expert nursing care
Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to deliver seamless patient care
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to expand your clinical impact

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
Experience reading basic tele strips and caring for CVA/TIA patients
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation time

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Total joint replacement care experience
Comfort with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively with nurse aides and interdisciplinary teams
