Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a home health setting
Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders including CVA and aphasia
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home programs

Qualifications

Active Kentucky Speech Language Pathologist License in hand at time of submission
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required
Home Health experience required
Willingness to travel across a large 11-county territory

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in treating CVA and aphasia
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
