Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights (0630-1830 / 1830-0630), every other weekend, holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to trauma, cardiac, stroke, and other high-acuity patients
Titrate cardiac drips, manage vents, and monitor telemetry
Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining safe patient ratios
Participate in open-book skills exams to ensure excellence in practice

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Driver's license required for radius verification
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac drip titration and ventilator management
Proficiency in interpreting telemetry strips and monitoring systems
Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
Adaptability to varied patient populations and unit needs
