Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services to help individuals regain independence
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State (or compact eligible)
Valid CPR certification (BLS) required
Minimum 1 year of recent OT experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to new environments quickly

Education

Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in evaluating and treating a variety of diagnoses in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of Medicare and insurance guidelines for OT services
Creative problem-solving and patient motivation techniques
