Roles & Responsibilities

Provide life-saving care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room setting
Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs to ensure timely treatment
Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes
Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient progress
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and follow-up

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
At least 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS a plus)
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, collaborative environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
Proficiency in IV therapy, wound care, and cardiac monitoring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with electronic health records and medical technology
Ability to remain calm and focused during emergencies
