Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
Manage inventory, stock shelves, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Process and verify prescription orders with attention to detail
Assist patients and healthcare staff with medication inquiries
Maintain clean and organized pharmacy workspace
Handle insurance billing and prior authorizations efficiently

Qualifications

Active California Pharmacy Technician license required
National certification (CPhT) preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in pharmacy software and computer systems
Knowledge of medication names, dosages, and interactions
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
