Shift Type: Rotating shifts with on-call requirements, 40 hours/week, including weekends and holidays as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac and peripheral invasive procedures as a scrub technologist in the Cath Lab
Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures including PCI, STEMI, and peripheral interventions
Operate and maintain cath lab equipment and Cerner EMR system
Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes, covering approximately 12 days per month including weekends
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring sterile field and patient safety
Collaborate with charge nurse and team members to manage daily caseload of up to 8 cases

Qualifications

2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
Proven ability to scrub cardiac and peripheral procedures independently
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
BLS certification required
Willingness to take call rotation including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures
Proficient in sterile technique and scrub role
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
