Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied day shifts (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Set up and maintain sterile fields for urological procedures
Assist physicians during cystoscopies, prostate biopsies, and other urology procedures
Place urinary catheters and provide patient education on catheter care
Manage patient flow in a busy urology clinic, ensuring timely and compassionate care
Document patient histories, vital signs, and procedure notes accurately
Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, CSTs, and CNAs to deliver top-notch care

Qualifications

Active LPN/LVN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience (urology or procedural setting preferred)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (travel assignment requirement)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in sterile technique and aseptic procedures
Skilled in catheterization and urinary catheter management
Knowledge of common urological conditions (BPH, hematuria, UTIs, etc.)
Strong communication and patient education abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment
