IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Los Angeles, California

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday), with on-call requirement 1-2 weekends per month, 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures using state-of-the-art fluoroscopy equipment
Assist physicians during angiograms, biopsies, and other minimally invasive procedures
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
Document procedures accurately in Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

Valid California ARRT-VI license required
Current BLS certification from AHA
Fluoro permit (California)
Experience in interventional radiology or cardiac catheterization lab preferred
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and equipment
Understanding of radiation safety and sterile technique
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
Detail-oriented documentation skills
