Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to patients in ICUs including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU across multiple facilities in Zone 3
• Titrate and manage critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin
• Float between facilities within a 60-mile radius of Denver city center as needed
• Interpret telemetry strips and respond to cardiac changes without monitor techs
• Collaborate with charge nurses, respiratory therapists, and intensivists to optimize patient outcomes
• Adapt quickly to different unit protocols and patient acuities, including 1:1 care for high-acuity patients on CRRT, IABP, or Impella

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years if this is your first travel assignment)
• Active and unrestricted RN license (compact license accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float to PCU/Stepdown and Med-Surg if needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in caring for critically ill patients with complex diagnoses
• Proficient in titrating multiple intravenous drips and managing ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, flexible environments across different hospital systems
• Excellent communication and adaptability for floating and just-in-time scheduling
