Shift Type: Varies, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice nursing care to patients in their homes or facilities
Manage pain and symptoms to ensure comfort and quality of life
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team including social workers, chaplains, and volunteers
Educate and support family members through end-of-life processes
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with physicians

Qualifications

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required
Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Previous hospice or case management experience preferred
Valid driver's license and auto insurance required for travel to patient homes

Knowledge & Skills

Hospice nursing and end-of-life care
Pain and symptom management
Case management and care coordination
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
