Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to pediatric patients in the PICU
Assess and monitor patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in the patient record
Participate in orientation and unit training to maintain competency and best practices
Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) — current and active licensure
Experience or background in PICU or pediatric critical care
Willingness to complete required orientation at the facility
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric critical care principles and bedside assessment
Familiarity with PICU workflows and multidisciplinary collaboration
Clinical documentation and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and respond in fast-paced situations
