Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on overnight shifts
• Assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses thoroughly
• Support patients and families with clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous acute care nursing experience preferred (medical/surgical or telemetry experience a plus)
• Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to work independently overnight and manage priorities calmly

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
• Proficient in patient assessment, vital sign interpretation, and documentation
• Familiarity with hospital workflows and bedside technology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong time management and critical thinking during night shifts
