Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients within your scope of practice
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patient status, and implement care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues to coordinate patient care
• Document interventions and patient responses in the electronic medical record clearly and promptly
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and promote health
• Advocate for patient needs and escalate concerns when appropriate

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
• Previous clinical experience as an RN; per diem or med-surgical experience is a plus
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts and adapt to variable assignments

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with EMR documentation and charting best practices
• Patient education and care coordination
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
