Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based Med/Surg and pediatric nursing care to assigned patients
Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and triage changes in status promptly
Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately while documenting thoroughly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge planning, and preventive care
Participate in orientation and unit-based training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Current, active Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
Experience in Med/Surg and pediatric nursing preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; pediatric certifications a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding checks
Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - acceptable

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Medication administration and IV/infusion management
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
Pediatric care principles and family-centered communication
Team collaboration, time management, and prioritization
