Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients using evidence-based practices
Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
Continuously assess patients, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement effective care plans
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and self-care
Document patient care clearly and thoroughly in the electronic medical record
Support unit flow by prioritizing tasks, assisting colleagues, and contributing to a positive workplace

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or eligibility for licensure
Current BLS certification (advanced certifications welcomed)
Experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred; comfortable with 12.5-hour shift assignments
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Med/Surg patient assessment and care planning
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
Patient and family education techniques
Effective teamwork, prioritization, and time management
