Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a medical-surgical unit
Assess patient condition regularly and communicate changes to the care team
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible to practice in Georgia)
Experience or strong interest in medical-surgical nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/other certifications encouraged
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing practices and protocols
Medication administration and IV medication knowledge
Patient monitoring, assessment, and documentation skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
Comfortable with electronic health record systems
