Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the care team promptly
- Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health record documentation
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Pennsylvania
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS encouraged where applicable
- Current clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and clinical decision making
- Medication administration and safety practices
- Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation
- IV therapy and basic unit procedures
- Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
