Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care to adult ICU patients
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic and ventilator data to guide care
• Administer medications and advanced therapies safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Perform timely, thorough assessments and document changes in condition
• Educate and support patients and families during critical moments
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and participate in code and rapid response events

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Minimum ICU clinical experience preferred; comfort with high-acuity patients
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to work overnight shifts and a flexible per-diem schedule
• Strong critical thinking, situational awareness, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with ventilator management and respiratory support
• Skilled in invasive line and hemodynamic monitoring
• Experience with critical care medication administration and titration
• Comfortable using electronic medical records for documentation
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
