Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care for patients of all ages
Triage and assess patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced ER setting
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments according to protocols
Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene promptly when needed
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to drive positive outcomes
Document assessments, interventions, and patient education clearly in the EHR
Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit-based problem solving

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
Current BLS certification (required); ACLS and PALS preferred
Previous emergency department experience preferred (1+ year ideal)
Strong clinical assessment skills, ability to prioritize in high-acuity situations
Ability to maintain composure and communicate effectively under pressure

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency triage and rapid assessment
IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care
Cardiac monitoring and basic arrhythmia recognition
Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking abilities
