Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour ED/ER shifts (12.5 hours per shift; exact start/end times and scheduled days to be provided)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and triage patients quickly and compassionately in the emergency setting
Provide evidence-based emergency nursing care, including critical interventions
Collaborate with physicians, techs and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions and disposition clearly and accurately
Respond effectively to acute changes, codes and high-acuity situations
Participate in orientation, unit training and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (or compact RN license if applicable)
Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or obtained promptly
Previous Emergency Department experience preferred
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in orientation
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
BSN preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong triage and rapid assessment skills in a fast-paced ED
Experience with IV therapy, wound care and basic emergency procedures
Ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients and prioritize effectively
Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families and team members
Familiarity with electronic health record documentation best practices
