Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (specific start/end times and exact days to be provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, triage, and prioritize care needs in a fast-paced ED environment
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to develop and implement timely care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes clearly and professionally
Educate patients and families on condition, treatment and discharge instructions to support good outcomes

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse license (ability to hold or obtain NH RN license preferred)
BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
Emergency Department experience preferred; new grads with ED-focused training considered
Strong critical thinking, assessment and triage skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing assessment and triage skills
IV insertion, medication administration and emergency interventions
Familiarity with ED workflows and short-stay/observation care
Clear, compassionate patient and family communication
Ability to prioritize and multitask in urgent situations
Basic electronic health record navigation and documentation
