Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered emergency nursing care in the ED/ER
Perform rapid assessment and triage to prioritize patient needs
Stabilize and collaborate on care plans for acute and critical presentations
Document interventions and patient progress clearly and promptly
Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families
Contribute to a safe, efficient ED environment through teamwork and proactive problem solving

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential
Experience or background in Emergency Nursing / ED/ER
Comfort and stamina for 12.5-hour shift work (schedule specifics to be provided)
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork mindset
Willingness to join Kuakini Health and support their mission in Honolulu

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing practices and triage principles
Patient assessment and rapid decision-making
Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
Clinical documentation and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
