Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate radiology equipment and perform high-quality imaging studies
- Position patients safely and compassionately for each exam
- Follow imaging protocols and radiation safety procedures
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records
- Communicate findings and collaborate with the care team to support patient care
- Participate in orientation and training to maintain skills and compliance
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in radiography preferred or equivalent credential
- Missouri state radiologic technologist license or eligibility
- Basic Life Support certification encouraged
- Previous experience in radiology or medical imaging is a plus
- Strong patient care skills and effective communication
Education
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with radiology equipment and imaging protocols
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles
- Patient positioning and care during imaging procedures
- Ability to document accurately in electronic medical records
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and staff
