Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered physical therapy care during scheduled shifts
Assess patient functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Document treatments and outcomes accurately in the facility’s records
Participate in orientation and team meetings to support a smooth onboarding

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in Washington (required)
Professional credentials appropriate to role (DPT or equivalent preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (or willing to obtain during orientation)
Comfort working in a team-focused environment at Shriners—experience with pediatric populations is a plus
Excellent communication skills and commitment to compassionate patient care

Education

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor/Master in Physical Therapy (as applicable)
Washington state PT licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in evaluation, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy techniques
Strong documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records
Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs
Good time management to deliver effective care within a 5-hour shift
Collaborative mindset to work with interdisciplinary teams
