Hours per Week: 30

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients using evidence based evaluation tools and clinical reasoning
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional goals
• Provide skilled OT interventions for activities of daily living and mobility
• Fit and recommend adaptive equipment and orthoses as needed
• Document progress clearly and timely in the client record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and caregivers to support carryover and independence

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one
• Current BLS or CPR certification
• Active professional liability coverage or willingness to obtain
• Previous clinical experience as an OT preferred
• Ability to start by the assignment start date of 2025-12-04
• Willingness to work a flexible part-time schedule totaling 30 hours/week

Education

• Bachelor or Master degree in Occupational Therapy or related field; entry level masters preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in assessment and treatment planning for adult and/or pediatric populations
• Skilled in ADL training, functional mobility and adaptive equipment prescription
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Excellent patient and family education skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills in interdisciplinary settings
