Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and support for activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility while preserving dignity
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
• Support infection control practices and follow facility safety protocols
• Complete timely and accurate documentation and charting
• Collaborate with nurses and allied staff to deliver excellent patient-centered care
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and ongoing skill validation

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Successful License/Certificate verification as part of onboarding
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Must meet health and screening requirements including fit test, 2-step PPD or IGRA, required immunizations (Influenza, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19), Trinity 10 panel drug screen, physical/health statement, respirator evaluation, and color vision check

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
• Good observational skills and the ability to communicate changes to the team
• Familiarity with basic clinical documentation and vital sign monitoring
• Knowledge of standard infection prevention and control practices
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to per diem scheduling
