Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patients' condition closely
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform routine assessments and document patient status in the medical record
Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and basic nursing procedures
Collaborate with RNs, physicians and the care team to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications and follow-up
Maintain infection control standards and a safe, clean patient environment
Escalate changes in patient condition promptly and participate in shift handoffs

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (required or obtained shortly after hire)
Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or skilled nursing setting preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program or equivalent vocational nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and basic nursing interventions
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Vital sign monitoring and early recognition of patient deterioration
Electronic health record (EHR) navigation and accurate charting
Patient education, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
