Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient condition, record vital signs, and promptly report changes
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
• Maintain clear, timely patient records and communicate updates during handoffs
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect patients
• Support unit operations including supplies, documentation, and patient comfort

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in Georgia (or eligible for state licensing)
• Completion of an accredited LPN / vocational nursing program
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
• Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• Graduation from an accredited LPN / vocational nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of basic nursing procedures and patient assessment
• Medication administration and accurate documentation practices
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and prioritize tasks
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient education skills
