Roles & Responsibilities

Greet and prepare patients for exams with care and professionalism
Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information
Assist providers during examinations and procedures as needed
Maintain accurate, timely entries in the patient record/EHR
Perform basic clinical tasks such as rooming, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
Manage supplies and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked
Support patient flow to help clinics run efficiently and compassionately
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to stay sharp

Qualifications

Active Medical Assistant credential or completion of an accredited MA program preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or must obtain upon hire
Comfortable working with electronic health records and clinic workflows
Strong communication and teamwork skills; friendly bedside manner
Ability to perform routine clinical tasks and follow infection control procedures
Successful background check and any required state licensure

Education

High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment basics and vital signs collection
Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation
Specimen collection and point-of-care testing knowledge
Infection control and medical safety practices
Time management and ability to keep a busy clinic running smoothly
Clear communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams
