Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with ambulatory patient care to ensure smooth, efficient visits
Room patients, take vital signs and document medical histories accurately
Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Perform basic clinical tasks such as drawing labs and administering tests per protocol
Communicate compassionately with patients and their families to explain next steps
Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient flow and follow-up

Qualifications

Medical Assistant training certificate or diploma preferred
Certification such as CMA or RMA is a plus
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Prior ambulatory or clinic experience is helpful but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn count too
Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program completion preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfort taking vital signs and performing basic clinical procedures
Patient-centered communication and customer service skills
Basic electronic health record familiarity and accurate documentation habits
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced ambulatory environment
Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow clinical protocols
