Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality mammography and tomosynthesis exams with attention to image clarity and patient comfort
• Operate mammography and tomosynthesis equipment safely and follow all radiation safety protocols
• Position patients accurately for 2D/3D stereotactic and diagnostic procedures when applicable
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure timely, accurate imaging and reporting
• Maintain equipment quality control checks and document imaging records accurately
• Provide compassionate patient education and support throughout screening and diagnostic procedures
• Adapt to schedule changes and support occasional Saturday coverage as needed

Qualifications

• CRT(M) certification (required)
• ARRT (M) credential (required)
• Tomosynthesis (Tomo) training (required)
• 3D stereotactic training is a strong plus
• Fully vaccinated prior to submission (required)
• Comfortable working 8-10 hour day and evening shifts, including some Saturdays
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hospital radiology team

Education

• ARRT(M) certification required (clinical mammography credential)

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of mammography and tomosynthesis imaging techniques
• Skilled in patient positioning and comfort measures for breast imaging
• Familiarity with 3D stereotactic procedures (preferred)
• Understanding of imaging QA/QC and radiation safety best practices
• Comfort using PACS/DICOM workflows and maintaining accurate imaging records
• Clear communication skills for working with patients and radiology colleagues
