Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate bedside care and support to patients with professionalism and heart
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while following facility protocols
- Document patient conditions, interventions, and responses clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to coordinate excellent patient care
- Monitor patient status and escalate changes promptly to ensure safety
- Support discharge planning and patient education to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN license in the state of Georgia (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts; scheduling details to be confirmed
- Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental nursing assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
- Compassionate patient/family communication and education
