Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them clearly
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient independence
- Communicate effectively with families and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current LPN license (eligible to practice in Pennsylvania)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and clear documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members
- Ability to perform routine clinical tasks and follow care plans
Education
- LPN diploma, vocational nursing certificate, or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic nursing assessments and vital sign monitoring
- Wound care basics and infection control practices
- Skilled in patient mobility assistance and ADL support
- Familiarity with electronic charting systems
