Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehab setting
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
Perform thorough assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly
Document care and observations clearly in the resident record
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans
Assist with activities of daily living and promote resident mobility and independence
Respond effectively to urgent situations and follow facility emergency protocols

Qualifications

Current and active LPN or RN license (appropriate state licensure required)
BLS/CPR certification required or must obtain upon hire
Comfortable working night shift hours and working per diem as needed
Clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a care team

Education

LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
RN: Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of nursing assessments and medication administration
Proficient with charting and documentation best practices
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Good time management and clinical prioritization on busy night shifts
Empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and resident-centered care approach
