Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, focusing on safety and dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting significant changes promptly
• Collaborate closely with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic medical record
• Support patient education and family communication with empathy and clarity
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Follow infection control standards and contribute to a clean, organized unit

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — ability to hold/obtain NC licensure preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus
• Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• LPN diploma or certificate from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Patient assessment and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Team collaboration, clinical judgment, and patient advocacy
