Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents with dignity and respect
Perform assessments, document findings, and communicate changes to the care team
Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with protocols
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to create person-centered care plans
Monitor and record vital signs and respond promptly to patient needs
Support residents with activities of daily living and promote independence
Participate in shift handoffs and maintain accurate, timely documentation

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in Pennsylvania
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (certificate or diploma)
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a resident-first attitude
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing principles and long-term care practices
Familiarity with medication administration and infection control standards
Skilled in charting and electronic or paper medical record keeping
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and handle emergency situations
Compassionate resident care with strong observational skills
