Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform patient assessments and report changes promptly to the care team
- Document care clearly and thoroughly in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver excellent care
- Support patient comfort, education, and discharge planning as needed
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach to care
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Patient assessment and documentation best practices
- Infection control and safe patient handling
- Clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during long shifts
