Location: Lancaster, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shift (exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed with hiring manager)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to residents and patients with professionalism and warmth
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team promptly
Assist with activities of daily living while preserving patient dignity and independence
Collaborate with nurses, rehab staff, and providers to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate clinical records and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license—Pennsylvania licensure preferred
Completed accredited LPN training program or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (or willing to obtain)
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Previous long-term care or clinical experience preferred but new grads are welcome to apply

Education

Graduate of an accredited LPN program (diploma or certificate)
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Wound care basics and monitoring for changes
Skilled in patient assessment and vital signs
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) or willing to learn quickly
Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a busy care environment
Compassionate patient-centered care and effective communication with families
