Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Lancaster, PA

Start Date: 04-27-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; specific start/end times and days to be determined by facility. Role indicates 8-hour LPN shifts, typically day shift as scheduled.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and monitor patient status
Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document accurately
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
Perform assessments, record vital signs, and report changes promptly
Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient record
Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Active LPN license or practical nurse certification required (must be eligible to work in PA)
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team-oriented attitude
Prior LPN experience preferred but new grads with clinical experience are welcome to apply

Education

LPN certificate or diploma from an accredited nursing program
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and medication administration
Comfortable with basic charting and electronic health record documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
Strong observational skills and attention to detail
Good patient communication and family education skills
